The development of a tactical communication unit for IAI ELTA began with a rigorous analysis of data transmission requirements
for robotic platforms operating in harsh field conditions. The initial phase prioritized structural resilience, focusing heavily on efficient
heat dissipation and the strategic placement of connector ports to ensure accessibility during operation.
Early conceptual designs evolved into advanced mechanical models, leading to the creation of a highly versatile chassis. This modular architecture was designed to facilitate seamless integration across various operational scenarios, allowing the unit to be rack-mounted on a platform, carried by a soldier, or deployed via a tripod. The final design ensures critical connectivity and optimal performance regardless of the terrain or deployment method.

chosen concept
What guided our concept selection was a strategic segmentation of visual volume. Driven by the necessity of superior thermal management and structural agility, we have moved beyond the standard monolithic enclosure. Unlike the heavy, static blocks typical of tactical hardware, our design effectively splits the mass into distinct upper and lower sections.
This approach elevates heat dissipation from a passive function to a central design feature—transforming the cooling fins into a bold visual signature that creates a dynamic silhouette while ensuring high-performance capability.
